In my free time I love to be outside & explore. This past summer I went on a 5 day canoe-backpacking trip on Murtle Lake in Wells Grey Provincial Park & It was the best! I love to hike & I’m always excited to see new view points. Camping is something I grew up doing, and I still love to tag along with my family because it always brings out my silly side. Being in nature just makes me relax & enjoy the beautiful world I live in - without any worries.

Travel is by far one of my favourite things to do! I have so much joy discovering beautiful new places and seeing new aspects of God’s creation. I love to plan my travels ahead of time (the organizing side of me never stops!) and I always have a list of places to go on next. The feeling of getting off an airplane and touching my foot down in a unique destination, will never get old. Documenting my trip with a notebook & my camera is my favourite way to keep all the memories alive. Landscapes are beautiful and all, but being able to capture it with a couple as my focus, is what my heart loves.

I’m actually going to Europe May-June 2023! I am so excited for this trip & will definitely do a blog about it once I come back!

I have a cat named Louie (Louis, Simba, Mr. Louie, Leonard..he has a lot of nicknames!). He is the most chill, but also adventurous cat. If you follow me on Insta, he will most likely be in a couple of my stories (I can’t help it). I love animals!

Now this blog makes me look adventurous - which is true - but I also love staying home. A cup of tea, a cozy blanket by the fire with my favourite book or rom com is also one of my favourite things to do. If I’m not out exploring, I love being home, baking, playing board games with friends & family (I kick butt in Dutch Blitz & I might be a little competitive…), organizing, cooking, doing a DIY project, colouring (it’s therapeutic okay?), and just chilling is restful to me!

Now lets be real here, all of the above is completely accurate, however, what you don’t see, is the massive bag of Smartfood popcorn to my left, or the little collection of dried fruit and chocolate on my desk, or my cold tea because I always forget to drink it when its hot, or my mom editing this blog (because you would not want to read this otherwise), and you definitely don’t see that it’s almost 1:00pm and I’m still in my pajamas. Well… that’s me!

I grew up in Vancouver most of my life but I recently moved to North Van & I am in love with it. Living in North Van has made me appreciate all the beautiful nature around me even more & being able to go on a hike out my front door has been absolutely amazing. I am so close to the beautiful locations that I love to do shoots at: Lynn Valley, Lonsdale Quay, Grouse Mountain, Capilano, Lighthouse Park, Whytecliff Park and Whistler. Being right off the highway is great too, because I can get to Vancouver, downtown, and the Fraser Valley very easily!
